Learning & Teaching
RMIT Vietnam’s English courses help participants to activate their English language skills and increase their confidence. Our project-based learning approach focuses on the communicative goals of language learning. We use interactive teaching methods and real-life interactions on our English-speaking campuses to help students practise and retain their English. Students engage in group tasks such as working in a team on a project, conducting surveys, and creating posters, presentations and videos.

Intercultural experiences
Our vibrant university community is made up of mainly Vietnamese students, but our university welcomes a growing number of international students from countries including Korea, France, Sri Lanka, Germany, Denmark and Japan.
Our tour participants gain insight into the country and culture of Vietnam through excursions and activities such as cooking competitions. During select class activities and excursions, participants are accompanied by volunteer buddies, typically students from RMIT’s Japanese language program who are passionate about Japanese culture. This creates an environment for building friendships and creating lasting international connections.
Industrial connections
Vietnam is a rapidly developing economy, with many domestic companies operating at an international level alongside the range of multinational operations investing in Vietnam. This means there is a wealth of opportunities for site visits. RMIT Vietnam’s strong industry connections also enable us to invite professionals from a wide range of specialisms for presentations and Q&A sessions.
Excursions
In our tour packages, participants engage in cultural exchange through carefully selected excursions in HCMC, Hanoi, and Da Nang. Our half-day tours explore each city’s unique features, highlighting attractions that blend modernity and tradition. For deeper exploration, our full-day excursions take participants to iconic locations like the Mekong Delta region, the stunning Ninh Binh landscape, or the ancient town of Hoi An. Additionally, our study tour packages include visits to local companies and hands-on Vietnamese cooking sessions.
